@inlikearefugee5194 there seem little interest in reducing the sanctions on Iran. It is doing itself no good by attacking oil tankers. It fell into the UK trap by responding to the seizure of the Iranian tanker. Sooner or later all nations who have tankers operating in the gulf will be forced to respond. The EU cannot criticise the UK for implementing EU sanctions. Sooner or later the EU will be forced to protect its ships.

@inlikearefugee5194 it is Iran that is attacking international shipping in the gulf. Not a strategy that will win many friends and one that is likely to alienate the ones they still have.
