  1. Not exactly an unbiased view. No doubt the EU would like a member state to have control of a new gas field. If for no other reason that to remove dependence on russian gas. Turkey is not going to find many friends in this matter.

  2.  Emre Parlak  Greece will be supported by the EU, as it clearly has a vested interest. Russia will not come to Turkey's aid without exacting a high price. The Russians will not wish anything to undermine their supply of gas to the EU. If Russia does involve itself, it will want a lot from Turkey, most likely a share of the gas field. Difficult to see where else Turkey will turn for support. If there claim is valid, maybe the UN.

  3.  Emre Parlak  if Greece makes a claim for the gas field, the EU will support it. France will come to the aid of Greece if Turkey uses military force, as money from gas talks. Turkey was already not considered a friend of the EU. NATO will not get involved, as both sides are NATO members. The most NATO will do is stop any military conflict.
