This policy is a nonsense, it is designed to steal yet more money from pensioners and funnel the money through the younger generation into the hands of big corporation's and then on into the pockets of the super rich. The £10,000 will not do much for the individuals who receive it. as strings placed on how it can be spent ensure it will fund mortgage companies and those who fund student loans, who will adjust their prices to take full advantage of this windfall. At the same time, it will stop the older generation having sufficient funds to have a decent old age or fund their children directly. The plan is cynically engineered to hide its true purpose, appealing to the young vote as a bribe. It does nothing to address the true problem, which is the growing wealth gap between the super rich few and the rest of society.
