The EU will be forced to back off if Russia turns off the EU gas supply tap. If the EU had its own military, it would already be at war with Russia.

@lv3184 do you think that will be their main concerns in the event of war? The Russians claim their new weapons are for defence only, but the trick is to make demands and blackmail to the brink of war. Leaving those being blackmailed with the choice of acquiescing to Russian demands or taking military action. Russian "purely defensive weapons" are designed to make the latter less attractive, leaving the only option of giving in.
