  1.  Francisco Martinez  are the fences so effective n the us that there are no burglaries? No! Could it be that fences do not stop the thiefs and they just find another way in. Maybe it is worth following the money. Who will be benefiting from the money used to build the wall? Where is the money coming from? Is it true that Trump is raiding the funds of important emergency protection.

Reading the news reports and judging from Trump's actions, it is difficult not to conclude that the Trump administration is corrupt and is robbing average Americans to enrich the super rich elite few, destroying the US environment in the process.

  4.  Francisco Martinez I maintain there is little to distinguish between the extreme left and right, both are fascist by the definition of the word. Rather than there being a linear spectrum of political views from left to right, I view it more as a circle, where the extremes meet head on at the opposite side of a circle to the liberal middle. This is because it is very difficult to distinguish between the actions of a left wing dictatorship from that of a right wing dictatorship. In both cases there is a ruling elite with a sense of entitlement that allows them to live in luxury while their people starve. It is a truism that any state with democratic in its name is anything but. The same rule tends to apply to socialist. Are we fighting against Muslim nations?? I think if we are fighting anything it is an extreme religious ideology with violent intolerance built in. The west's attitude towards Muslim nations is conflicted by money, leading to a very poor choice of friends, for example Saudi Arabia as opposed to Iran. On the friendship scale, neither have much to commend them, but the latter could be argued to be the least extreme and oppressive, unfortunately they lack the wealth of the former. Both hold the west, or rather its values, in contempt. What is strange is that so many from Muslim states wish to migration to places that they hate and hold in such contempt. The refugees always seem to want to migrate to the evil, liberal, decadent west, never to the more religious Muslim countries. Now why is that?

  5.  Janet Masiello  I think it depends where in the world you go. Again it is all about money and capitalism versus socialism. Both take the money away from ordinary people, it is just a question who they give it to. I suspect the left is demonised where they is a risk they may deprive the super rich of money that a right wing government is paying them. What you can be sure of is that those in power will always get a substantial cut of what is taken from Joe public.
