  1. Lobbying is only necessary to promote the bad ideas that are for the self serving interests of the tech companies. The ones that increase profits at the expense of growing the electronics waste mountain. The tech companies run rings around the law makers. Force the fitting of user replaceable batteries and the manufactures solder down the SSDs.
