In the 1930s the UK had marches through London supporting Nazi Germany. The EU would be mistaken to take any comfort from these marches

@pierrevallet6188 no just pointing out that this march in London does not necessarily represent the majority. There have been marches in the past that also supported a foreign hostile power intent on doing the UK harm. Glad you did not like the analogy, it was chosen deliberately with that intent.

@toyotaprius79 maybe for the same reason you sound like a sulking child. I am surprised that your parental filter allows you to comment on news sites. I suggest you leave issues of politics to grown ups.

@pierrevallet6188 of course the EU is a hostile power, its intent is to harm the uk economy, it wants to keep the UK bound to it, forced to obey it's laws and directives.

@pierrevallet6188 but you are happy to take our tax payer money to use to fund the development of our competition in the EU. Even after we leave you expect the UK to obey EU rules and directives. You expect the UK to establish internal custom borders to suit the EU. If the UK leaves without a deal, the EU will have no choice but to establish a custom border between the EU and Ireland. EU representative have repeatedly made it clear of their intention to punish the UK for having the temerity to leave, presumably to discourage other member states from following our example.

@toyotaprius79 it is precisely because of the DUP involvement in the Tory government support that will ensure a border in the north sea between NI and the UK will not happen. The clock is ticking towards a no deal. That means no border in Ireland and an open border for the EU. The EU weaponised the Irish border issue, it looks like they are going to be forced to solve it.

@toyotaprius79 you really do not know what you are talking about.

@toyotaprius79 ok Irish sea, or to be pedantic the St George's channel and the Celtic channel.
