This was a shameful display of petulance by the SNP. It purpose was to frustrate brexit. The SNP position is ridiculous. They perport that this demonstration was a protest against an alleged power trap by the UK government of powers devolved to the Scottish assembly. In practice this powers were held by the EU and are returning to the UK as a result of brexit. It is ironic that the SNP only want these powers so they can give them back to the unelected, unaccountable eurocrates in Brussels.
