@BlueMax333 the US government is not a religious organisation. Most of Christianity has outgrown the behaviour of the past. It cannot be expected of the Taliban, as they are busy taking Afghanistan back 1600 years. You can be assured that the Chinese are not looking for converts, they will be occupied with extracting mineral wealth. The Taliban can forget about converting the Chinese, they do not tolerate Islamic extremists.

@BlueMax333 yes it did, it was attacked from terrorist bases on Afghan soil. If the Taliban wants to avoid further attacks, it should avoid its territory being used as a base for attacks on the west.

This sounds like Macron opportunism, an excuse to forward the EU rapid defence force agenda. Having identified Afghanistan as the graveyard of empires, the EU wants to add its name to empire casualty list.
