  1. The EU are waiting for a second referendum. Mrs May is playing chicken, expecting parliament to vote for her deal rather than risk a no deal brexit. The political classes have frightened themselves with stories of a no deal brexit. They have fallen for their own propaganda of cliff edges and traffic jams. There is no doubt a hard brexit is going to be very uncomfortable, but the pain is their fault, by allowing the EU parasite to become so embedded in UK life and allowing the EU to so mesmerize successive governments into believing that the imbalanced UK economy can survive without making a profit for the country and that we can all live on debt and borrowing forever. I doubt if the real place for the UK economy is in the G5 or even the G7. We may not make into the G10. Far from rejoining the EU on the old terms, the UK should be a net beneficiary from the EU budget, receiving far more than it is taking out, inorder to pay for the rebuilding of our manufacturing base. Whatever happens, the UK must become much more self-sufficient, cutting our dependence on imports and increasing exports. The UK certainly needs to take back control of its utilities, services and critical industries. If for nothing else, but to stop the profits leaking to our foreign competition and keep the wealth in the UK.

  2.  La Corneja  can't think why, it is an accurate description of this corrupt undemocratic organisation. It takes our money and then expects gratitude if it gives some of your own money back while telling you how to spend it.
