Now we must remove the remaining tentacles of the EU parasite from UK political and economic life.

@adrianceasar5620 that is really good it will go a long way to cutting our trade deficit with the EU. I really like the idea of the baking ban, I hate french bread and pastries. We will make a fortune from all those EU boats seized for illegally fishing in UK waters. I like the border checks, that will do wonders for the EU tourist industry. Then there are all those EU assets in the UK that will be be nationalised under emergency measures. Water, gas electricity, rail, and air traffic control and airports. Though the latter will not be doing that well as a result of EU actions. We can all make up revenge strategies fantasise. Your post just goes to show how desperate the EU must be.

@adrianceasar5620 yes, but the actions of the EU could make it very popular. You really don't expect the UK population to continue paying EU monopolies in the uk. The days of the EU treating the UK as a cash cow are over.

@adrianceasar5620 not really our money if that which we get back must be spent where we are told. As for he EU being about more than money, that is just idealistic nonsense, usually espoused by the super state fascist zealots. There were similar examples in the old USSR. Those who say "do as I say, not as I do". Orwell demonstrated this in his book animal farm. I suppose you will tell me the EU is building a Eutopia. Funny how this always turn out to be a dystopian nightmare. The error is in the big is beautiful assumption, used to justify empire building. I often compare the EU to an wealth sucking parasite. But another comparison appears appropriate, that of the Borg from the star trek stories. The mantra of the Borg seem to be the same as that of the EU: "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated, We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile". Just exchange EU for the word Borg, both are the monsters of nightmares.

@adrianceasar5620 you mean our money that is given back to us with strings attached. That's like saying you own the pickpocket money, because your wallet was not a full as they expected when they stole it.

@adrianceasar5620 I think you should look at the actions of all the world's banks. None in Europe and the US are free of guilt. The UK population suffered from the action of the UK banks and continue to do so. I should point out that in 2008, the UK was a member of the EU. The problem was a failure of regulation associated with the deregulation of the big bang. One might take a look at the German banks involvement in the financial crash in Greece. If banks are allowed to loan money they have conjured from thin air, money that has no real value and does not really exist, then this is what happens. The EU and the US are still wedded to QE and negative interest rates, which facilitates the banks printing funny money. An appropriate biblical quotation might be "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". In this case, those in the EU do not qualify as stone throwers.
