The UK parliament has twice overwhelming rejected the exist exit deal, so what deal does the EU think the UK will accept. The exist deal is a trap that attempts to strong arm the UK into accepting EU trade terms.

@bobbybobby3070 the UK joined a common market not the EU. The terms of contract have been changed by the EU. The UK red lines are very reasonable for an indeoendent sovereign state. No more than any other independent state. It is the EU that wants to hold onto advantage it gained from UK membership.

@bobbybobby3070 interesting that you see the euro as a disadvantage and not having it is a privilege. The same goes for being a member of Schengen. This says a lot about those unfortunate states that do not have these advantages. Before you bring up the matter of the rebate, it should be pointed out that with out the creative accounting conducted when the UK joined the EU, the UK should have been a net recipient from EU funds, and may yet be so if forced to rejoin. With its massive trade deficit with the EU, it will not be long before the EU is forced to support the UK economy should it remain a member.
