  2.  @astralxing988  it is the EU that wants a federal europe, with majority voting. It was the eu who's response to the covid pandemic was paralysed by central planning bureaucracy.

  3.  @mimmiblu6138  there are none so blind as those who do not want to see. The federalist plan for europe will inevitable lead to the creation of a super state in the he image of the old USSR. Its effect on the world will be negative and likely to lead to war, possible WWIII. It is the structure that is wrong, it is not a common market, and it is not the cooperation of sovereign states for areas of mutual self interest. By its nature, the eu must subsume the member states, suppress their individuality and apply a central command and control government. The eu is an image of globalisation in microcosm, designed to benefit the super rich elite that owns the multi national corporations. As it develops, it must become increasingly authoritarian and will no doubt implement the surveillance Society that the Chinese government is now pioneering. As one who has read the works of Orwell, or studied the dystopian predictions of 20th century science fiction, will recognise the dangers. The europhiles think they are heading towards a utopian dream, where in fact they are traveling in the opposite direction.

You maybe one of the current winners, there are certainly a great number of losers, maybe as the grip of control increases, you will not be so lucky in future. It is of concern to the uk to the same degree as the actions of Russia and China. It is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Those who live in cages do not know they are prisoners, until they have reason to test the bars.

  7.  @tonyroy8123  it is not speculation. Does the EU not have embassies? Do their foreign minsters not demand the same privileges as accredited diplomats from recognised states? Is the EU not seeking its own military? Their is a significant list of state trappings that the EU is attempting to adopt. There is no doubt that the federal agenda is inexorably grinding on, no matter what objections are offered by then member states. This process will accelerate if, no when, majority voting is adopted by the EU.
