Is that why Ireland has been forced to mothball part of its fishing fleet, so that other member states can plunder Ireland's coastal waters, following the reduction of access to UK waters. Something that will get worse as the UK regains full control of UK waters.

The EU is borrowing more than its collective GDP to fund corruption. The money will just disappear.

Gustavo Brandao the problem with Ponzi schemes, is sooner or later they run out of good quality victims, and are forced to use who they can get.

Gustavo Brandao something tells my you are a true deluded europhile.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan just Google EU corruption and recovery fund, there are too many links for me to copy all of them here.

@Diarmaid O'RiordanI like watching the EU money squandered in a cloud of eurocratic incompetence, idealistic liberal hypocrisy and EU myth. Allocation of funds for obeying the rule of law, (following EU rules), and what's good for one member state is good for all??😁😁😁 It will take a few years, but let's see where the money really ends up.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan so what is Ireland's contribution to the EU recovery fund per capita?

@sidneypedroso3415 I have repeatedly tried to post links that prove I am correct, but this channel will not allow these posts, seems like the channel does not like the truth. You will just have to do your own research, I suggest you start with the Irish times.

@lacommission.-sitcom696 the EU seems to have more than its fair share. Its structure encourages it. I think the EU is on the thieves mugs list.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan EU government debt to GDP ration was 97,3%% in 2020

@goncalomeneses5611 thankfully the UK is no longer part of the EU, that is the way forward for a better UK.

@Diarmaid O'Riordan the most corrupt developed country?? Surely not, there is real competition from a number of the EU member states, not to mention the EU itself, it bankrupts whole countries. It is definitely an area with growth potential in the EU.

@kukulroukul4698 I think you will find if anyone has a Napoleon complex, it is Macron, he seems intent on using the EU as a proxy french empire. He has done his best to ensure that an EU military is controlled by France, and will be used to further french ambitions. U fortunately for him, he needs German tax payers money to pay for them.

@andrew30m no it's not the EU is a corrupt organisation that is run like a protection racket.

@DanDman14a protecting the home producers is a good thing, however the EU market is too big for such measures to work. The common standards inside the EU make it an attractive place in which to sell, but not to buy. Its tariffs would need to be huge to overcome this disadvantage. The size of the market encourages local producers to manufacture to EU standards, making the standards of other countries a hidden trade barrier to EU manufactures, particularly if their home market's are much smaller than that of the EU. It is the effect of economy of scale.
1
@andrew30m no, but the EU took advantage of the UK.
