  1. This should ensure that they are the last generation of the royal family. There children will not receive the privileges of being classed as royal. The only reason the UK has kept the monarchy is because the alternative is too distasteful to implement. Those in the house of lords must be concerned, as without a monarch, there is little justification for the lords. They are an anachronism from a feudal past, tolerated because of the revenue they generate and because the alternative is so unpleasant to contemplate.
