Comments by "Nigel Johnson" (@nigeljohnson9820) on "Hungary says it'll seek legal ways to challenge the European Vote" video.
The EU sets the rules, Hungary has no chance of using a legal challenge to change the EU position.

@gabrielalejandropandiellar8746 they will do anything like this until they see how brexit turn out. Another reason why the EU is certain to try and punish the UK. The only time the EU might be justified in interfering in another states affairs is if the government of that state can no longer be replaced by an election. The only action that is valid is to expel a state from the union. It is hypocritical to apply article 7 and still take the membership fee.

@gabrielalejandropandiellar8746 he is a politician, he will do a cost benefit analysis and react accordingly. At the moment brexit is putting off those considering exit. This is a shame, as the UK has particular problems, such as the Irish border issue that is complicating things. Only a major EU crisis will trigger any more members to seek the exit. This implies it will be more than five years before any more states will seek to leave. They all want to see how successful post brexit Britain will be. Given that the EU has had forty plus years to screw up the UK economy, it will take a long time to put it right, that assumes the UK government makes the right decisions. This is not certain given the embedded vested interests.

@KB-uy3lv Organ will not ready yet. The article 7 process is very long before it reaches the point of applying sanctions. The EU vote so far is nothing more that a warning shot. It may even be a political stunt before the EU elections. They are trying to deflect attention away from their own democratic deficit. This will be obvious, given that the MEPs have little real power. The real power is with the unelected eurocrats. Mumford paying him self on the back for a series of EU failures. The only thing he can celebrate is hoodwinking the citizens of the EU into paying for him and the other eurocrats.
