I trust the unionists will cause the southern Irish and the EU as much trouble as the republicans have for the rUK. The border in Ireland is going to be a smuggling paradise. It really does not surprise me that you might suggest ethnic cleansing as a solution to your problems, however, such a policy is likely to see Ireland kicked out of the EU. Win win?

  3.  @colmbloomer8668  you may not have mentioned ethnic cleansing, but evicting a group based on their religion amounts to the same thing. As it stands, it now appears that you can look forward to difficulty trading with both the UK and the EU. So not only will you not have a cake, it won't be because you ate it.
