  1. It will need to rebound to pay off the debt. But it won't, because the rest of the world will not. The eu will be sucked into a global depression. Any chance of recovery is dependent on the early development of a covid vaccine, but the financial damage has probability already done. At the moment the eu is subject to deflation, but this will turn to hyper inflation in time.
