  1. It is very impressive that it has been possible to map the fly brain, associating functions to areas of the brain. Our existing knowledge of AI and artificial neural networks must be missing a trick, as we cannot even emulate this level of complexity, and certainly not in the power and size constraints. When AI can match the power of even a flies brain, robots will become far closer to their science fiction counterparts. Image a drone with a flies sensor network and brain capacity.
