The protesters are very brave, but they need not confront the solders to bring down the illegal military government. Confrontation is in fact counter productive. It is far easier to just refuse to work. The generals depend on the country being profitable, anything that damages that profitability makes their position untenable. Far from filling the streets, the protesters would do better to empty them, bring all economic activity to a complete standstill. The troops will still be expected to be paid, and will not work for long for nothing. If the government forces people to work, then a campaign of sabotage will make this counter productive. Being a target for well armed troops on the streets is not going to bring down this government, as the world will never learn of the massacre of civilians. Better to hit the generals where it will hurt them the most, in their bank accounts. If the rest of the world wants to bring down this evil regime it should seek out the assets of those in charge and cease them.
