  1. Simply extending article 50 solves nothing. Maybe it gives more time to adjust to a no deal brexit. The UK Labour party is now supporting a plan to ask the UK population a loaded question in a second referendum. It wants to give a false choice between accepting May's deal, already rejected by parliament, or staying in the EU. May's deal was rejected because of the backstop that locks the UK into the EU customs union as a vassal state. So the choice is between remaining in the EU or remaining in the EU as a slave. No mention of leaving or a leave option.
