@traveler142 you clearly do not know about rabies. Once symptoms are detected, it is invariable fatal. Vaccination before the symptomatic stage can be life saving. So it is untrue that the natural human immune system can fight off any virus unassisted. There are other similar examples. Survival rates differ for different viral diseases. Vaccination provides a means to arm the human, or animal, immune system to mount a defence against a viral attack, but the outcome is not certain. Vaccination just improves the chances of survival, sometimes to a very high degree. It really depends on the effectiveness of the vaccine. In a he case of covid these effectiveness figures have been published by the manufactures, following the results of human trials. The figures have been refined during the pandemic, as a result of having a larger data set.

@traveler142 how is the means of transmission relevant, I could have chosen marburg, ebola, or smallpox. The latter is maybe the most pertinent, as it was eradicated by a vaccination programme, and it is air born transmitted.

The rest of your post is just paranoid speculation and conspiracy theory. It is easy to make up such theories, I could suggest that covid is an alien attack. A Chinese, Russian or even US bio weapon. Do you really think that all the vaccine manufacturers would cooperate in the production of saline doses of a Placebo vaccine? Don't you think one of the many independent researchers would have identified such a fraud? I suggest you put on your aluminium foil hat, as it will give you the best protection from the virus, which is transmitted by 5G cell towers :-).

@traveler142 no, you people are too paranoid. The AZ vaccine was supplied at cost, only the American manufactures tried to make a profit from the pandemic. But the drug companies do not need a pandemic to make a profit, they have many other products to which a price hike could be applied, and it would then not require wreaking the world economy. It was prudent to plan a vaccination strategy for the next pandemic, it was inevitable that sooner or later one would occurs, just as they have in the past.

@traveler142 as I have already said, it depends on the vaccine and the manufacture. The AZ vaccine is supplied at cost price, and is therefore a fraction of the price of the others. Most experts in the field of virology were predicting the next pandemic, not hard given their past frequency.. Given the poor hygiene standards in the Wuhan wet market, and the close proximity of humans to exotic wild captured animals destined for human consumption, cross species virus transmission was an accident waiting to happen at this location.

@LowerYourExpectationsPleb no she placed their lives at risk from the covid virus, when they thought they were being protected. The honourable thing to do, was to refuse to administer any of the vaccine injections. Had been employed to administer chemotherapy drugs, her crime would be more obvious. She could have argued that the drugs are poisonous and not guaranteed to be effective, both of which is most likely true.
