Luke Koziol if they do Poland and Greece may rethink their membership. If they dont, German and French tax payers may force their countries to rethink the value of membership. It is difficult to see why Greece has not already exited the EU, as membership has destroyed their economy. Germany wanted to rule the EU, but I don't think they wanted to also pay for it. Italy has massive debts and France is having problems forcing workers to accept a big cut in their rights. The defenders of the EU maintain that one of the reasons for membership is the protection of workers rights, but the policy of the French government shows this to be a nonsense. As I have pointed out many times, the EU needs to create a monoculture super state, where low paid workers can be moved to where they are required. The EU four freedoms are not for the benefit of he people, they are for the convenience of big business, and were defined by the European banks when the EU was established. What the UK is seeing is the reactionary forces of the super rich attempting to reverse the UK referendum vote because Brexit will reduce their incomes. That said, there is a group of super people on the leave side who will attempt to use brexit for their own ends, making the UK a low tax, unregulated, low income tax haven to leach off the EU. The trick is for the UK people to resist both.
