Any one who is sufficiently stubborn to believe in creationism, is going to be stubborn in resisting the northern Ireland protocol. It is ironic that the nationalists and unionists agree on something, they both see the protocol as step towards irish reunification, but you can bet their response will be very different. The poor EU must be quaking at the prospect of inheriting the financial and political liability that NI represents.
