@kamillgran7902 it is the Russia troops that are behaving like NAZI SS. They are also guilty of war crimes. Crimes that cannot be denied or hidden. The news reports show the damage. Putin is simply a liar.

@Ghost_Os they is no comparison, the depravity of the Russian troops far exceed the actions of any of the Ukrainian forces. Russians will be forced to suffer this shame for a generation.

@kamillgran7902 strange how their streets are lifted with destroyed Russian tanks and how one of Russia's capital ships is now decorating the sea floor. Putin can't even admit his special operation is a war, or that his forces have targeted civilians, destroying schools and hospitals. Difficult to disguise the piles of rubble that were once homes, schools, theatres and hospitals. I suppose it is to be expected from a people who were fooled by Joseph Stalin, he killed millions of them and they still put his body in a mausoleum for decades. How dumb can you be? This wasn't about oil, it was really about creating a new Russian empire in the model of the old imperial empire. It was not about de-nazification, as the only Nazis were on the Russian side. It wasn't about pushing back NATO, as before the war NATO was on the brink of being disbanded, now it's reinvigorated, with new weapons spending and potentially two new members, if not more. Putin has failed in his stated goals and his real goals. He has made Russia an international pariah, putting in back in 1960s isolation , and destroyed the basis of its economy, making it dependent on Chinese good will. It stands a good chance of being a vassal state of China, with many of its assets in Chinese ownership.

It is unfortunate that the Ukrainian military were not able to embarrass Putin with a significant attack on the Russian invaders, like that of sinking one of its capital ships, or an attack on its land supply lines. Such an operation would have had great symbolic value, but do require a serendipitous opportunity. While sure symbolic embarrassment has considerable propaganda value, it it not worth the risking the lives of the Ukrainian military personnel to achieve it on a particular date. Putin's victory day speech, was nothing but a catalog of lies to justify his illigal invasion of Ukraine. The only people he is fooling are the Russian who have no access to global news.
