I wouldn't get too excited, the is about the same as the brexit party saying it will force a no deal brexit. The liberal democrats should now change their parties name to the liberal undemocratic party. What they are proposing is to ignore the result of a referendum. A general election result is now where near as democratic as a referendum. In a referendum every vote counts and it is vote on a single issue. Unlike the vagaries of a general election result. The EU would be wise to be very cautious of a party which adopts such a fascist policy.
