Mrs May will not be able to promise that UK MEPs will "behave". There is a good chance that her party will not be well represented among the MEPs and she is unlikely to be the PM. Hopefully the next PM will be a Eurosceptic.

@chewypiano7194 maybe, but neither labour or the conservatives cannot sign a deal that has been rejected three times without making changes to it. There only way out is a second referendum.

@chewypiano7194 it is important that the UK population is not bamboozled by any deal. If they are going to get a referendum vote, the consequences of the small print must be explained. The political elite will be keen to disguise any deal that effectively turns the UK into a vassal state of the EU. May's red lines, which have slowly evaporated, were intended to ensure that Brexit really was making the UK independent for the EU. Any Brexit that really leaves the UK tied to the EU will not produce any financial benefits and will be the worst of all worlds. Beware of vested interests who wish to to preserve the status quo. Removing the EU parasite from UK life is going to be painful, but it is necessary. The UK cannot continue to leak its wealth paying to be a member of corrupt protection racket that is not doing the UK any good, just because an elite few are doing very nicely out of the arrangement.

@chewypiano7194 as a leaver, I have no fear of a remain second referendum vote, as it set the precedence for a third more successful leave referendum should it manage to reverse the result of the first. What the remainers fail to understand is that the UK cannot afford to remain in the EU. It will put the UK into a debt spiral. If the UK remains in the EU, it is important it continues to plan for the day when it leaves. If the UK fails to stop the EU federalisation plans, the EU will quickly become an intolerable place to be, an undemocratic, fascist, plutocracy. As the UK has been a member for forty years, it is going to be very painful to escape the EU parasite and repair the damage it has done to the UK economy. The success of the UK's recovery will depend on the quality of its government. Like now, there are treasonous, self interested forces that want Brexit to fail.

@chewypiano7194 do you really think a remain vote will be the end of the matter? Life in the EU is not going to be as attractive as the remainers would have the UK population to believe. The UK will be in an unsustainable debt spiral and will be subject to increasingly intrusive EU control. A second referendum will prove that the discussion to leave was not an irrevocable once-in-a-lifetime decision as the first was advertised.

@chewypiano7194 the government is attempting to fix the terms of a second referendum as a choice between remaining a full member or remaining as a vassal state under the withdrawal agreement. Leave will not be an option. A vote to remain as a full member will unset the French and call into question EU democratic credentials. This is sufficient to allow a further article 50 application at a later date. A Eurosceptic UK government will provide a third referendum.

@chewypiano7194 the deal cannot be passed without a confirmative referendum. This is the condition the labour party is commited to providing. Without labour support, Mrs May's deal does not have the numbers to pass through parliament. Labour, has set this condition because they do not wish to form the next government being blamed for signing up to a treasonous deal.
