@Frankly Frank it's all a question of interpretation, I see the SOS as a cry for help from the EU.

@Frankly Frank post brexit, Swiss cheese will not be allowed into the UK. The opinion polls show little real movement in the referendum vote. There is no guarantee that second referendum would reverse the result of the first, particular after a campaign period. The EU has not done itself any favours by the way it has treated the UK. It has provided plenty of ammunition for a leave campaign.

@Frankly Frank peace and prosperity, is that why it needs its own army and why Greece and Italy are doing so well economically. ( As you are remained I should explain that was irony). I think you will find that EU rules and directives had a lot to do with facilitating the UK's imbalance economy with its associated poor performance. It could be argued that the UK should be a net recipient from the EU budget rather than a net contributor. Should the UK be forced to remain in the EU, maybe this matter would be addressed. I am sure the German tax payer will be pleased to contribute to the UK's economic recovery. With regard to peace and prosperity, it is typical of the EU to claim the credit for something it did not do. It was NATO that kept the peace in the post war years, the only EU involvement might be German restraint in not attacking their neighbours for a third time.

@Frankly Frank is that why Greece and Italy were allowed into the euro zone? The idea that the EU is going to be able to defend itself is laughable. The French want a symbolic EU army that it can use for fighting small police actions in Africa and to bluff its way to the top table. You would be well advised not to harp on about European cultural diversity, given that the EU is intent on producing an EU monoculture with a view to produce a low paid mobile work force. This goes some way to explaining why the Eurocrats are so keen to dilute the local cultures with those of economic migrants.

@Frankly Frank there would be ample material for a Brexit campaign. But the EU will certainly regret a referendum result that reverses Brexit. 17.4 million aggrieved people will be voting for Eurosceptic candidates in the EU elections.

@Frankly Frank do you really think those who have succumbed to EU blackmail really harbour any good feelings towards the EU? The EU is still hated by the majority of the UK people and they will vote accordingly. Your assessment of remain supporters is clearly wrong as they appear to be able to comprehend the nature of the withdrawal agreement or the consequences of remaining in the EU. They have defective long term memories, because they fail to understand that most of the UK's woes occured will a member of the EU. They seem to assume that remaining a member will restore the status quo, not realising that the UK cannot afford to remain a member with its approximate £100 billion annual drain on UK wealth. There lack of foresight regarding the ever increasingly intrusive EU rules and regulation made by unelected Eurocrats is lamentable. All points to a lack of intelligence on the remain side of the arguement. All we have learned about them in the past few weeks is that they are undemocratic sore losers who make far more noise than is expected from such a relatively small group as for factual pragmatism, that is an excuse for surrender to EU slavery.

@Frankly Frank no matter how much I enjoy re-educating remainers and europhiles who have been deluded by EU propaganda, there are always some who prove to be beyond help. It is regrettable that they are doomed to discover the truth the hard way. Unfortunately you appear to fit into this category, so I must leave you to your fate.

@Frankly Frank again I am force to interpret your gobbled post. It is impossible to teach those who do not wish to learn and there are none so blind as those who do not wish to see.

@Frankly Frank you are very selective in your choice of history. The EU is a fledgling USSR. The formation of the common market was based on the threat of repeated German aggression, but rather than resolve the problem the nation's of Europe exhausted by war decided to appease the bully. Leave voters are not advocating nationalism with a large N, by nationalism with a small n, that which is the alternative to the evils of globalisation. It is the liberals and socialist, driven by blind ideology, and a utopian vision, who are the useful fools that will bring about the dystopian undemocratic plutocracy so offer predicted by good quality 20th century science fiction.

@Frankly Frank I am not forcing you to read my posts and even less to reply to them. There is a distinction to be made between the people of Europe and the EU and it's governing elite. You do not say who you worked for, so I cannot tell if you are simply an innocent or one of the enemy. If you don't want to waste your time, stop reading my comments and do us both a favour and stop replying to them.
