  3.  @caelan8819  membership has been a disaster for the uk economy, destroying it to the point where the uk has become a nation of consumers, funding their purchases with a ever growing pile of debt and the sale of critical assets. As to foreign investment, it is a simple fact that investors expect to take out more than they put in, so while foreign investment brings economic activity, it does not bring any real benefits, in fact quite the opposite, as it slowly drains wealth away from the host country, thus parasitic in nature.
