Those who think they will benefit from these rule changes are likely to be disappointed. The result will be that creative content will never see the light of day. The error is the same that assumes that every pirated copy represents a lost sale. It's more likely that it's a no sale and a loss of free advertising. It could be argued that piracy is a fixed fraction of the creative output. Reducing one reduces the other.
