Give that it is the EU that keep moving the deadlines, it appears its the EU that wants a deal. According to the EU the deadline was October.

I fail to see the connection to the Nazi party that predates the EU by decades. the connection to ode to joy is also tenuous, given that its use as an anthem also post dates the Nazi party by decades. what does "taking example from the best <3" mean???

So the EU is celebrating that Poland and Hungary have effectively won their battle to make distribution of the recovery fund NOT dependent on abiding by EU rules. What the EU gained is to borrow a huge amount of money, a large percentage of which will not be repayed, and distribute around the poorer states of the EU. Clearly the donors and lenders do not understand the myth that what is good for one member state is good for all. One must wonder, how much of this money will be embezzled by criminals or simply wasted to no real effect. How much of it will find its way into the pockets of the multinational companies that benefit so much from the EU emulation of globalism within the internal market. The liberals will be patting them selves on the back at how enlightened they are, the recriminations will come much latter, when the money has disappeared.
