  2.  @DataJYdocs  I am not making any judgement on the rights and wrongs,I just know it is the first place where Russia and the EU will confront each other with a risk of military conflict. I firmly believe that had the EU already established it's military at the time Russia annexed the Crimea, Russia and the EU would already be at war. With its own military, the EU will move from being harmless to mostly harmless, but sufficiently dangerous to be involved in wars. I suspect the French will ensure that the EU's first conflict will be a police action in Africa, but it could be with Turkey in the med.
