If taken at face value, it is a Russian admission of Russian engineering incompetence.

@natakhomyakova6996 an oil company that can't fix an oil leak. That is incompetence, maybe it's the same engineers that designed Russian tanks.

@natakhomyakova6996 the excuse is an oil leak, must be to avoid the cost of a breach of contract law suit. Putin is happy to admit that a Russian oil company is incapable of fixing an oil leak. Maybe they are short of parts, but that means admitting that western sanctions are working. Unfortunately for Russia, the eu has imposed a cap on the Russian oil price. While gas is a small part of the income, oil is not. Russia is now having problems finding a market for its gas, so much so it is being forced to burn it off. It must be really depressing Russian oil executives, as they are throwing themselves out of high rise windows, or is this another example of poor Russian engineering, unable to design a safe window catch.😂🤣

@natakhomyakova6996 aparently russian engineers lack the skills of their German counterparts. In any case the oil leak in question is reported to be in the control gear, not the turbine. So it is your reply that is stupid.

@elenalange4712 sanctions on Russia are not stupid, They are being used to control a mad dog without risking a global nuclear war. In the long run they will work as they are tightened, as Europe's dependant on anything produced in Russia declines. Russia is really a one trick pony, who's main export is not based on intelligence, but geology. A product that has been proved to be an essential threat to the human race, with its link to global warming. Soon Russia will be stuck with a 20century product no one wants any more, so much for building a Russian empire. Given the fight the Ukrainians are putting up, it will be worth a cold winter to support them. Putin is counting on a very cold winter in Europe, but he maybe disappointed, as its more likely to be warm, wet, and very windy.
