Hungary is to be disciplined like a naughty school child. It is going to be forbidden from speaking and maybe have its pocket money taken away. Of course the rule of law does not apply to the eurocrats, they can break the rules without risk of consequences.

Why do these rules not apply to Juncker and the selection of his successor, it seems there is one rule for the eu member states and another for the eurocrates that run it. If Hungary is not allowed to vote, why should they pay the membership fee.

@raisonneur682 WORKS!? Democracy in the EU is an illusion. All goes well provided the electorate vote in the way the eurocrats want. Vote a different way and the electorate is either asked to vote again or punished. Civilised, is that like the way the Spanish paramilitary police dealt with the separatists?

@peterstefanmarosi1635 I support the right of the democratically elected government of Hungary to do what it promised in it's electin manifesto to the people, free from interference by the EU and other member states. If the EU does not like it, there only option should be to expell Hungary from the union with the associate loss of the membership fee. The idea that the EU can punish Hungary while still taking the membership fee is hypocrisy.
