Comments by "Nigel Johnson" (@nigeljohnson9820) on "Budapest's mayor snubs Orban by lobbying EU for direct access to climate change cash" video.
Direct access to funds is another step to diminish the importance of the nation state and replace it with an EU federal government.

@bca-biciclindcuaxel7527 have you taken a look at the US at the moment? Many of its states are effectively bankrupt. The US has a debt approaching 1 trillion-dollar. It has a mass of low paid jobs and an elite few filling their pockets from money printing by the fed, a migration crisis, and a president who is a egotistical megalomaniac dictator who believes himself above the law. This is what you want to emulate, now that is really funny. Good luck with that, I hope you succeed in reaching the very depths of your ambition.

@bca-biciclindcuaxel7527 it is easy to make an economy look as if it is booming if you print money. The US economy is heading for a bust. Did you not see the 1 trillion dollar debt figure. US companies are not making products, they are zombies living on low interest money printed by the FED. The positive bottom line on the balance sheet is the result of share buy backs using this borrowed money. Even the golden state of California is bankrupt. The US is still exporting it's high tech jobs to China. The fuss about Huawei, is a smokescreen to disguise the fact that most US electronics is manufactured in china. You must be very gullible to believe Trump and the republican propaganda. They are filling their pockets while the Trump sun is shining, they will cut and run when the financial storm hits. The US is already into negative interest territory, there is no travel left on the financial controls to weather the coming financial storm. The US economy is a bubble waiting to burst, they appear determined to repeat the history of the 1920s. I do not think they will get to 2029 before the bubble bursts. If the best you can do as a defence is claim I am Russian, you are going to go broke. I am a retired English circuit designer, living in Cambridgeshire, England, and you are a mad europhile troll.

@raisonneur682 wanting to enter the EU should not be confused with being a europhile.

@bca-biciclindcuaxel7527 your in ability to accurately determine my nationality suggests that nothing you say can be trusted. I note that when you are losing an argument, this is your standard method of distraction. It does not work.

@objectdefiance4027 all the evidence suggests that the globalist are in charge, and they are for rampant unregulated global capitalism. In principle there is nothing wrong with capitalism provided it is regulated to control its excesses. It is the most efficient way to organise an economy, as it does not require central control to direct it. What it does need are rules and regulations to limit its all consuming expansion. Globalisation has created a super rich elite, that no longer has any national loyalties. They trade nation against nation. They can avoid paying into the economies they exploit. Sloshing wealth between rich and poor states, extracting the profits in the process. This is what is driving the global wealth gap between the super rich fraction of a percent of the population and the rest. It is what is driving excessive global consumption of the world's finite resources.
