  1. Elected governments are by definition democratic. It is the undemocratic EU that is attempting to change the judicial system in these countries. By definition, it is the responsibility of elected governments to make the laws, and the judicial system to implement them. That way the people, the have a say in the laws that are applied to them. It is the EU that is being undemocratic. Provided the member states government is elected by the people, then the EU has no right to interfere in the judicial system.
