This is the same childish tactic that president trump is using to hold the US government to ransom. It is not democratic in the US and it is not democratic in the UK. The brexit campaign made it clear that a brexit vote would result in the UK becoming fully independent of the EU. It did not say that post brexit, the UK would still be tired to the EU. These MPs are trying reverse the brexit result without any mandate from the UK electorate. They seem happy to quote that parliament is sovereign, failing to understand that parliament is the servant of the people not their master. MPs govern by consent of the people, something they will be reminded of, to their cost, at the next election.
