  1. I have been pressing for this system to be adopted in the UK for years. It seems a very good way to save money, switching off lighting when they are not being used. It also has the advantage of providing dark, or at least darker, sky's at night. This is better for wild life and better for stargazers. I hope the results of this pilot scheme is well publicised and trust it will be a success.
