From who? No one is interested in invading NK, it has nothing worth taking. It is not defending North Korea, it is defending the luxury life style and power of its ruling elite, and their right to oppress their own people.

NATO has had plenty of opportunity to attack NK of it wanted. The reason it has not been attacked, is because no one is really interested in it. It has nothing anybody wants.

@CorruptMediaLies I am. However it is a common view, supported by the evidence of history. It is interesting that you confuse NATO with the US, they are not the same. Kim needs NK to have an external enemy to keep his own people under control, why else would they let him live in luxury while they live in oppressed poverty. It is a dangerous game, as his constant threats against a none existent enemy risks them being forced to take the threat seriously and react accordingly. That is what happened to Saddam Hussein, who played exactly the same game. At the moment it suits China to keep NK as a dangerous pet, but should Kim's threats compromise China's position. Kim might find trade and support from China will dry up.

@CorruptMediaLies so many countries blame their own problems on the US Corrupt and incompetent government's find it far easier to blame the problems they created on an external enemy. Gorge Orwell wrote about the oppressive states need for a perpetual external enemy in order to justify the oppression of its own people. A cold war threat is ideal for implementing oppressive control measures, a police state that can hide the luxury life style of its leaders under the guise of official secrets. Such secrets can also be used to mask obscene levels of official corruption. Any of this sound familiar to you?

@CorruptMediaLies the US is certainly not perfect, but it has become a convenent enemy for failing states and dictators, like those in NK, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, and Russia. A common feature of all of these is the dictator, implementing a fascists police state. It therefore does not both me that they see the US as an enemy. Putin regards the US as an enemy because it opposes Putin's plan to recreate the imperial Russian empire, by the invasion, subjugation and oppression of its neighbouring sovereign states. Kim of North Korea, sees the US as an enemy because it is a convenient way to control his people, and because he fears that his position of luxury might be challenged by a democratic revolution, seeking the freedoms of the west. The US is not good, but it's enemies, and those of the west are clearly evil and self serving.
