@astralxing988 by being part of the EU it lost the right to make its own laws. Its democracy was diluted to the point where people making those laws are not UK subjects and therefore not elected or accountable to the people of the UK. Your question is biased by including the statement that "given the UK is a member of the EU". That is the whole point, we do not want to be a member of the EU.

@xste d basically anything that violates the EU four freedoms any EU directives or anything to do with our coastal waters. Once out of the EU all can be modified to meet the needs of the UK. If you are not in the EU, the decision to leave the EU has nothing to do with you, you just have to accept it.

@xste d I just gave you whole areas of law that the EU prohibit the UK from setting.. We could outlaw all EU factory fishing boats. Control net size. We could ban anyone with a criminal record entering from the EU. We could ban screw fitting light bulbs or allow tungsten bulbs to be sold. We could outlaw the larger EU heavy goods vehicles from our roads.

@xste d up to 67% of UK laws are set by the EU or are required by EU directives. If the UK is to protect its home markets it must be able to set its own standards. This is prohibited by EU law and directives. I wish to chance many of these directives. UK farmers are prohibited from growing certain crops, for example certain species of apples may not be grown or sold in the uk. I would out law EU fishing boats over a certain size from EU waters and only allow EU fishing boats access with UK control on catch quotas. I would phase out the inferior Euro style screw fix light bulbs. There are whole areas of EU regulations I would remove, and I would add regulations on animal welfare. I like certainly review all 67% of EU rules and regulations to see if they are necessary to UK business or result in interior standards. The ones I have picked above are just some of the many that stick in the mind as particularly irritating.

@xste d first you are wrong old apple species are not protected, they must not be grown or sold. As to the Falklands, I doubt if the islanders should want to risk being invaded again by the argentinians, given the way they behaved the last time they had access to the Falklands. With regard to UK farmers, they are currently being swamped with cheap imports from the EU. I know, I live in an area that once grew much of the fruit and vegetables that we now import from across the EU. There is nothing to stop the UK government protecting UK farmers with regulations that make cheap imports extremely difficult and expensive. Brexit is not an end in itself it is a means to an end. What the UK does after Brexit is dependent on the discussions that the UK government makes and it is directly accountable to the UK people.

@astralxing988 the UK does not want to be part of the EU. It is not mandatory to be part of the eu, no matter how much you would like it to be. The UK has only been part of the EU for forty years. There were centuries when it was not a member. We wish to go back to that state.

@astralxing988 no you are lying. The EU makes a significant number of UK laws and the UK is forced to follow EU directives. UK coastal waters have been opened up to EU factory fishing boats. The UK supreme court must defer to the rulings of the ECJ. The rules made in the EU are not made by people elected by the UK population and who are not accountable to the UK population. We want control of our country back. What did the Americans cry in the war of independence, no taxation without accountability. To hell with the ECJ and to hell with the Eurocrats and EU commissions, they are nothing to do with us and should have no say in the running of our country. The only reason control might not be returned to the UK is if the voters fall for the treasonous withdrawal agreement.

The UK will set fishing quotas for UK waters and if it is decided to let any EU boats into UK waters, they will need to buy a fishing license and abide by UK rules. The EU will have no say in the matter. You have proven your stupidity, by not understanding what a bot is and how it works.

You appear to be an EU paid troll who performs the same function as the automated system. I assume you are working from a script as the post you generated today lack any form of originality, basically repeats of the same message. How much does the EU ministry of misinformation pay you. Is it by the number of posts or do you get a flat rate minimum wage?

@astralxing988 I live in Cambridgeshire England. It came as a surprise to the EU, that article 50 was triggered. Had this not been the case, article 50 would have been better written. As it is, it provides a get out for the UK, so that in the event of a no deal brexit the UK is not required to pay the EU anything. I suspect that the EU will be busy drafting a replacement along the lines of that used by Spain to make leaving impossible. I hope so, as it will sow the seeds of the EU's violent destruction. By the way if you are being paid in Euros, I suggest you convert it to gold, as the EU banks are effectively bankrupt. Though given the quality of your posts, I must assume you are being paid in food vouchers. I suppose trolling provides employment for migrant labour. Much as it has been fun spending the day insulting you, I do have other things to do. Not sure what you hoped to achieve with your posts today, but I suggest you find another source of employment, before you are replaced by someone with a double digit IQ.

@xste dthe leavers are only a minority in your opinion. It's not a case of which law the UK cannot make, thought I can think of a few, it is about the laws the EU impose on the UK.

@xste d it really depends if those earning the money pay any tax. Globalisation means the super rich nolonger have any need for loyalty to their country or even the place n which they live. Corporations may earn their money in the UK from UK workers, but they squirrel it away in foreign tax havens. No doubt you are one of those who see foreign investment as a good thing. But the point about foreign investors is that they intend to take out more than they out in, it is the principle of profit. Unfortunately foreign investors like to export their profits to their home country or these days more likely to a tax haven that will protect their extortionate games. So if Brexit drives away these sort of people, will we even notice. In rebalancing the economy to be more self sufficient and therefore profitable, local companies are to be encouraged at the expense of self serving multinationals.
