  3. @S K with rights come obligations. Why should those who have deserted the UK expect to have a say in its future? The us expects it's expats to continue to pay us taxes, no matter where in the world they settle. It is about committment to the country of your origin. If UK expats what a vote, they must expect to contribute to it. They cannot expect to vote on issues that affect those who live in the UK, when the result will have no affect on them.
