@anthonyburke5677 rubbish it is doing what it always does, it helps itself. The EU what the backstop which traps the UK in a customs union or it wants a trade deal that traps the UK in the EU customs union. If fact the only option it will consider is one that traps the UK in the EU customs union. The customs union is intended to keep the UK under EU control. The simple answer is no. In in a language that Mr Tusk can understand, go to hell.

@hurri7720 ,what you do not understand is that the power has already moved from the heads of the member state to the unelected eurocrats who have moved from being the servants to being the masters. The members are not taking there orders from another country, they take their orders from the super state they have constructed above them. Even the Germans are discovering that they are no longer in full control. The trick is to use the tyranny of the majority to control the minority. It is possible to suppress the people by claiming the good of the majority outweigh the needs of the minority, it is classic divide and conquer.
