  3.  @kimmoreels7950  while Putin has followed much of Hitler's play book, the similarities end with the time scale. Putin has managed to compress five years into as many weeks. Early on we had the denials of any intention to invade, and the peace in our time speeches from western leaders. we saw the excuse of protecting a minority Russian population as a reason for invasion. This mirrored Hitler's excuse for the invasion of the sudetenland, at the start of the second world war, We had, what putin obviously thought, was a Blitzkrieg attack on the Ukraine. We have now seen the scorched Earth trophies, of the retreating Russian forces.and have now reached the comparison with forced migration and internment camps. One must hope, that these do not degrade into a final solution scenario.
