Based on these excess payments, the UK should be the world's leading economy, but the only area in which the UK appears to lead is greed. These people only excel in increasing their own wealth. They should be replaced by more cost effective executives who actually increase the wealth of the country. It really is time to cap the wages of chief executives by fixing the ratio between the mode wage and the maximum wage within a company, maybe a maximum of between 20 and 50 to 1.
