When Poland joined the EU, did they really think it was about trade? They abdicated their moral responsibilities and placed them in he hands of the EU. From now on they are slaves to the eurocrats who will tell them how to think and what to think.

@05KAR I am not making any judgement on the policies of the Polish government, I am just pointing out that membership of the EU is not about trade or economics, it is about politics and the surrender of sovereignty. Join the EU for financial reasons and you have sold your soul to the devil. The goal is a federal super state, with common laws dictated by an essentially unelected central federal government. The EU might like to give the impression it sets a high moral code for its member states, in truth its own moral standards do not stand up to inspection. It's all about political expediency and furthering the federal agenda. Dare to oppose this agenda and the EU establishment will find reasons to attack you, support it and you can be as draconian and despotic as you like.

@05KAR the danger is that the population does not get the opportunity to elect the government it wants, it has an EU approved government imposed upon them. This is what happened in Greece. In the EU democracy is an illusion, the people are free to vote provided they vote in the way the EU spproves. I think you will find the same applies to economic and financial policies, as was the case in Ireland. Even France is being forced to follow EU doctrine, one only needs to look at the changes Marcin is trying to introduce. Those tied to the EU are not immune, look at EU interference in Switzerland. The EU sets traps, reminiscent are the Venus flytrap. Fall for the sweet nectar of financial gain and you will be trapped and consumed.

@05KAR none of the countries you mention have yet to succeed in opposing the EU. The UK is putting up a brave fight, but it is hampered by the EU fifth column operating in government and the vested interests funding the remain campaign. The EU Modus operandi is to establish co-dependence between states to bind them together and assume legal responsibility for professional control bodies. Like a parasite, the EU infiltrates the political, legal, and financial system of the member state until nothing remains of the original and all is under the direct control of the eurocrats. If you do not recognise this your country is in real danger. A cage is only a cage when you encounter the bars as you try an escape.
