Comments by "Nigel Johnson" (@nigeljohnson9820) on "How satisfied are the people who voted in the Brexit referendum? | #GME" video.
Those calling for a second referendum to allow them to reverse Brexit, do not know if that is even allowed, the issue is currently being considered by the ECJ. ( Ironically). If the UK is forced to remain, there will be17.5 million people n the UK wishing for the destruction of the EU. It would serve the EU right if on returning to the EU, the UK public elected the most Eurosceptic government and MSPs. Imagine how much damage a UKIP government could do to the EU. Certainly the UK should make provision for a third referendum, only this time with better preparations for leaving.

@tracyofbg if only we had a government that would stand up to the EU. We are happy to leave with a hard Brexit, but don't expect us to pay the EU anything or give you access to our costal waters.

@tracyofbg yes the EU is the enemy, it became a hostile power as soon as we voted to leave. I agree that successive UK government's have acted against the interests of the people, but the EU have colluded in this, as it was not in the interests of some of the other member states to do otherwise. In truth the UK economy has never been as strong as the UK and EU elites would like us to believe. The UK should have been a net recipient from the EU budget not the third or forth largest contributor. Inside the EU, the UK could make preparations to leave. Brexit is maybe the only way to force the government to change its policy of living on debt. The UK must become more self sufficient to reverse its trade deficit, the UK government refused to do this inside the EU, it will have no choice once outside. We should have a Canada plus deal, not the one sided surrender document that Mrs May is pushing. It would be better to reverse Brexit and try again when better prepared, in the mean time there are 17.5 million UK citizens who would like nothing more than see the destruction of the EU. If forced to reverse brexit, I expect our government to work toward that end. If that requires the election of a UKIP government and sending more UKIP MEPs to Europe so be it.

@tracyofbg UKIP is part of the populist rebellion that the EU elite are creating in Europe. The EU's long term future is dark as it has imperial ambitions. All such entities end badly. I am not surprised that this is not discussed in the EU corridors of power. I doubt if the fall of the Roman empire was a topic for discussion in the Roman senate.
