@d-space7679 you really are stupid, it is clear that joining the EU is a one way process with no chance of leaving. The EU slowly sucks the sovereignty out of member states, creating unnecessary codependency to stop them leaving. I prefer the more poetic explanation, but I am willing to explain it to the hard of thinking.

Miguel Melchior there is strength in diversity and the corporation of independent sovereign states. The EU is falling into the trap of the globalists. It makes no environmental sense to transport components parts back and forth across the world simply to bind it together. It is dangerous concentrating engineering and production in a few specialist centres. It inhibits innovation and makes the world vulnerable to natural disasters. Do you really think you are better off being ruled by an all powerful fascist plutocracy?

Hell is being in the EU. Abandon all hope ye who enter here.

@d-space7679 freedom!

@d-space7679 and you will still be in the euro plutocracy, where democracy is an illusion.

Miguel Melchior the EU does not put money in the NHS. The EU is a parasite, it only takes.

Miguel Melchior we were lied to when we joined the common market. We have the freedom to chose to leave and that is what we have done.

Miguel Melchior You, but to describe the EU as a trading partner is a fallacy. We trade with the countries within the EU. The EU itself is not a trading organisation, it is a government, or at least it wants to be.

@d-space7679 the countries you mention are blackmail victims of the EU, forced to follow its rules. It is a shame that so few are willing to stand up against this monster. We are heading for an Orwellian dystopian future. The EU is on a slippery slope that will end in the destruction of Europe. I hope the UK has the strength to escape the EU and overcome the vested interests that want to stop brexit. The EU operates like a crime syndicate, a protection racket that makes joining easy and leaving difficult.

@d-space7679 the EU does not give the UK money, it only gives back part of what we give to it. The EU then has the audacity to tell us how to spend it.
