While the Saudi regime is reprehensible and there are guilty of the murder of this journalist. All that will happen is the West decides not to sell them weapons is that they will buy from the Russians or the Chinese, neither of which have any moral qualms about selling weapons to anyone provided they have the money. In the long term Saudi power will diminish as the West addiction to oil fades. If the West mounted a coordinated embargo on the supply of Weapons, the Saudi regime might fall, but this seems unlikely given their alleged complicity in 9/11 failed to elicit this reaction from the United States.

Rick James i am sure you are right, what little we are told is worrying and removes any confidence we have in world leaders. At the moment none of the world leaders command respect. They seem to be a bunch of self-serving crooks, who already know the world is doomed and are busy filling their pockets in the time the earth has left.

@MelkorPT it is perverse that the US labels Iran as a state sponsoring terrorism, where in fact there is little evidence of them doings so. Yet there is ample evidence that the Saudi regime sponsors terrorists all over the world. It is amazing how an ample supply of crude oil can blind world leaders o the most appalling human rights violations. It's all that glittering white and gold of the Saudi palaces that stop the world treating this cruel state as the pariah it should be.
