Ukraine has earned its place in NATO, paid for in blood. There can be no doubt about Ukraine's military credentials. When it joins it will be the most battle hardened member of the organisation, having defeated the Russian military. They will also have demonstrated their military ingenuity, leading the way with drone technology and tactics. The West may have supplied the weapons, but it is the Ukrainian population has done the fighting for the rest of the western population. Their courage and resilience is truly remarkable. It is impossible to u derstand how the Putin regime can think it can ever Conquer and subdue the Ukrainian people. It is obvious that Russia lost this war the day it started.
