This is a nonsense, what will happen to the local producers? There is something very wrong with the way global trade deals are done. They miss a fundamental principle, the choice to buy is the prerogative of the buyer, not something mandated by the seller as part of a trade deal. What we are seeing is trade for trades sake, or rather trade for profits sake. This is an example of how globalisation damages local producers. For those in the EU it means french and Irish farmers are competing with those in Australia and Argentina. It means that produce which could be produced locally will compete with produce that will be transported over thousands of kilometres at huge environmental cost. Global trade deals fail to recognise the above principle, this results in a reduction of global resilience and stops nation states being self sufficient. The original intention of trade was to exchange surplus production of local manufactures for raw materials and products that climate and geology denied the trading partners. The problem is that global trading rules have evolved to produce all or nothing market access, forcing the buyer to buy what the seller has on offer. The reason it has evolved this way is because global trade make huge profits for the super rich few who finance and facillitate it.
